Mikayla Timmermans

I began skating the age of 2. I started skating in the Port Stanley Skating Club where I competed in Singles as well as Synchronized Skating. Later I became a member of the Mount Brydges Skating Club as well as continued in Port Stanley. My main coaches were Kim McCaw and Chrissy Kernaghan, who have both shaped me into the skater, coach, and person I am today. After completing most of my Skate Canada Testing, I began competing in Triathlon. Since then I have achieved my Sr. Bronze Level Free Skate, and Gold Levels in; Dance, Skills, and Interpretive. My Coaching Qualifications include CanSkate Certified and Regional Coach In-Training. I am currently attending Western University (King’s Campus), in my third year of the Bachelor of Accounting Degree.
